(ii) Candidates must also possess one of the following technical qualifications: (a) Certificate in Tubewell Mechanic course from a Government Technical Centre or Government Industrial Training Institute, Lal Diggi Park, Gorakhpur, or any equivalent recognized certificate. OR (b) One of the following: Minimum 2-year certificate from Directorate of Employment and Training, Uttar Pradesh Certificate from Industrial Training Institute (ITI) 3-year National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) issued by NCVT, Government of India Relevant Trades: Machinist Fitter Wireman Turner

Essential Qualification (Educational):
As per Uttar Pradesh Minor Irrigation Department Boring Technician Service Rules, 1993 (as amended in 2003, 2006, and 2010), Rule 4 of Part-4 states that for direct recruitment to the post of Assistant Boring Technician, candidates must fulfill the following criteria:

(i) Must have passed High School Examination from the Board of Secondary Education, Uttar Pradesh or any equivalent examination recognized by the Government.

(ii) Candidates must also possess one of the following technical qualifications:

(a) Certificate in Tubewell Mechanic course from a Government Technical Centre or Government Industrial Training Institute, Lal Diggi Park, Gorakhpur, or any equivalent recognized certificate.

(b) One of the following:

Minimum 2-year certificate from Directorate of Employment and Training, Uttar Pradesh
